Concession Building, Abilene State Park, 1990s
Designed by architect David Castle and constructed of rusticated sandstone block, the concession building features simple massing, with the suggestion of movement and depth achieved by a skillful manipulation of planes, punctuated by the addition of the tower to the right. Note the water fountain at the left.
