In this view of the south side of the motor court cabins, the screen door, visible on the right-most unit, shows the entry into one of the cabins; the unit's garage is to the right. Originating at the springs, the diversion canal serves people who depend upon on the irrigation district; any overflow travels down several miles to Balmorhea Lake.
