Cabin, Bastrop State Park, c. 1992
This cabin, designed by architect Arthur Fehr and situated among the pines, harmonizes with its surroundings. The walls and chimney are hand-tooled sandstone blocks, massive, yet scaled to the landscape. Heavy timber framing supports the cedar-shingled roof.
