CCC Alumni Reunion, Bastrop State Park, 2008
The refectory forms the backdrop of a gathering of CCC alumni. Such events, held at significant CCC parks throughout Texas and the United States, especially during the last quarter century, have been used to focus on the beauty of these parks, to express appreciation to the builders, and to allow historians and stewards to collect oral histories from the men who constructed the parks.
