Directional Sign at Foot of Skyline Drive, Davis Mountains State Park, c. 1936
In keeping with the rustic aesthetic, the park signs are of wood, have routered and painted letters, and hang from a timber post, de-barked and partially buried in the ground. Decorative wrought iron hardware supports the horizontal member as well as the sign itself. The wording suggests this sign was positioned at the lower end of Skyline Drive.
