CCC Workers, Indian Lodge, 1937

Company 1856 was officially camping at Big Bend National Park far to the south of the Davis Mountains. But in 1937, forty men moved to a "side camp" established near Indian Lodge in Davis Mountains State Park for about a year. Their project included reworking the lodge roofs as shown by the ramp from the upper parking area to the roof parapet.
