Combination Building, Huntsville State Park, c. 2008
Overlooking Lake Raven, the refectory at Huntsville State Park is a load-bearing masonry building with limestone walls laid in a random ashlar style. A common feature included in NPS designs for such multipurpose buildings was the dance terrace. The space is inviting for all sorts of outdoor gatherings near the lakeshore.
