Dam and Spillway, Lake Bosque, Meridian State Park, c. 1934

The masonry limestone abutment (left) serves as a terminus to the earthen dam across Bee Creek. The spillway to the left of the abutment carries excess water around the dam and downstream to Bee Creek. The CCC dam across Bee Creek impounded Lake Meridian, the seventy-acre focal point for recreation at the park.
