Combination Building-Dance Terrace, Tyler State Park, 2008
This circular dance terrace is on the lake side of the combination building. The two circular balconies flanking the stair are labeled "dais" on the architectural drawings, and may have been originally conceived as half-walled enclosures accessible by the dining room. These elevated platforms once allowed people to watch the activities on the dance floor but, with the demolition of the dining room, this connection has been lost.
